Phil Shedletsky DDS, MS
Phil received his DDS from the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University in 1979. He continued on to attain his certification in Endodontics and his Master of Sciences degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo, N.Y. in 1983.
A past president of the Toronto Academy of Dentistry and the Ontario Society of Endodontists, Phil also served as a Governor for the Ontario Dental Association for many years. He is currently serving on several dental committees.
Phil has been a clinical instructor in Endodontics at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, and has been actively involved in dental continuing education, writing articles for dental journals and lecturing at major dental conferences.
The father of three, Phil enjoys running, snow skiing and road cycling. As an active participant in the broader community, Phil offers his support to a variety of community establishments, including Baycrest Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children.
Gary Glassman, DDS, FRCD(C)
Gary received his DDS from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1984 and was awarded the James B. Willmott Scholarship, the Mosby Scholarship and the George Hare Endodontic Scholarship for proficiency in Endodontics.
A graduate of the Endodontology Program at Temple University in 1987, he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics.
The author of numerous publications, Dr. Glassman lectures globally on endodontics, is on staff at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in the graduate department of endodontics, and is an Adjunct Professor of Dentistry and Director of Endodontic Programming for the University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica.
Gary has presented at major dental conferences around the world including the annual conference for the European Society of Endodontology, The Canadian Dental Association,The Ontario Dental Association, The California Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, The Greater New York Dental Meeting, The Pacific Dental Conference, Washington’s Nation’s Capitol Dental Meeting, The Chicago Mid Winter Dental Meeting and the Irish Dental Association.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Fellow of the Academy of Dental-Facial Aesthetics, Gary is the endodontic editor for Oral Health dental journal.
Past President of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club and the H.M. Worth Radiology Study Club he maintains a private practice, Endodontic Specialists in Toronto, Ontario. The father of three, Gary enjoy’s hiking, camping and traveling the world.
Glen Partnoy, DDS, MS, FRCD(C)
Glen received his DDS from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where he graduated with academic honours. He then moved to Denver, Colorado, completing a certificate program in hospital dentistry, where orofacial trauma was a significant focus of training. Glen next received his certificate in endodontics as well as a Master of Science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Glen is a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
The author of numerous publications, Glen continues to lecture at major dental conferences, and is actively involved in continuing education programmes. He has been President of the Toronto Central Dental Society and was recently on staff at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.
The father of four, Glen enjoys tennis, skiing, and playing guitar.
Adam Grossman DDS, FRCD(C)
Adam received his DDS from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Dentistry, where he graduated with academic honors. He continued on to attain his certificate in Endodontics at Tufts University, in Boston, MA. Adam is a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
While at Tufts, Adam conducted research on several endodontic topics, including pain management. Additionally, he served as a clinical instructor for the pre-doctoral endodontic program. Adam is actively involved in dental continuing education, he is an author of numerous publications and has lectured at major dental conferences.
Adam currently sits on the executive board for the Toronto Central Dental Society and is a councillor for the Ontario Dental Association. Adam has been a clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.
The father of three, Adam enjoys skiing, playing basketball and running.
Simone Seltzer DDS, FRCD(C)
Simone received her DDS from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. After graduation, Simone served as a part-time clinician at The Hospital For Sick Children in addition to working for her father at his dental practice. Simone then decided to return to post-graduate studies in endodontics at Boston’s Tufts University. Simone was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
A past president of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club, the Central Toronto Dental Society and the Ontario Society of Endodontics, Simone is also serving on several dental committees.

She is actively involved in dental continuing education, writing articles for dental journals and lecturing at major dental conferences.
The mother of two, Simone enjoys yoga, pilates, traveling and reading a good book.
Gevik Malkhassian, DDS, MSC, FRCD(C)
Dr. Gevik Malkhassian is a certified dental specialist in Root Canal Therapy and is a fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He received his dental degree (D.D.S.) from Iran in 1990 and practiced general dentistry for 11 years before immigrating to Canada. Upon completion of a two-year program at the University of Toronto for foreign-trained dentists, he continued and completed his education at the graduate Endodontics program at the University of Toronto at 2007.
Dr. Malkhassian takes great interest in both academic and clinical studies and decided while practicing as an endodontist to keep his affiliation with the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto as an assistant professor since his graduation. He is involved in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He has been involved in dental continuing education and is a reviewer for dental and endodontic journals. He has received several awards from students. He is a member and a past president of OKU honorary dental society. He also serves on the executive board of Endodontic Alumni Association of University of Toronto. Gevik father of one enjoys cycling and spending time with his family and friends. He is fluent in Armenian and Persian languages as well.
Jose A. Da Costa, DDS, MSC, FRCD(C)
Dr. Da Costa received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991, from the University of Toronto. He owned and practised as a General Dentist, in downtown Toronto, from 1992 to 2006. In 2007 he completed a three-year endodontic graduate residence program at the University of Toronto, receiving a Masters of Science in Endodontics, and a fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as a certified specialist in Endodontics.
From 1991 to 2012. Dr. Da Costa was a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto in the departments of Oral Anatomy, in the qualifying program for foreign trained dentists, and in the graduate and undergraduate Endodontic department.
He is the past president of the Ontario Society of Endodontists, as well as past president of George Hare Endodontic Study Club. Dr. Da Costa continues to be a member of the OSE, the George Hare Endodontic Study club, the American Association of Endodontists, the Comprehensive Dental Study Club of Hamilton, and the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Da Costa, has provided, and continues to provide, endodontic continuing education courses for general dentists throughout the GTA.
